We had our first introduction with emergency power needs during a storm and our electricity was out for days. It was sweltering and scary and we had just moved into a new home. We decided never again and next time we would be prepared. During emergencies, we learned that there is nobody in charge. You must take care of yourself and your dependents (kiddos). Some of our products reflect this experience, some of our products reflect years researching this field and being frustrated by all of the politics involved. We believe if you buy a system, YOU must know how to fix and maintain it. A solar system requires dedication and knowledge, you must have some skills or at least know how to acquire them when needed whether by book, net or skilled friend. Most of our products require self installation for this reason. You may hire a handyman or plumber yourself but please watch and learn and ask questions about your system.
